Hardness Testing

THT achieve accurate hardness testing results by using the most appropriate
method of test for each component.

Rockwell testing using Indentec Rockwell machines which are calibrated
internally on a daily basis and calibrated by indentec engineers on a regular basis.

Vickers testing using Vickers testing equipment and Micro hardness testing
equipment which is also calibrated to approved standards allowing for best results.

Brinell testing is usually carried out on larger items with a low hardness value,
using a Brinell testing machine.

THT utilise high tech hardness testing equipment with touchscreen technology
and hardness impressions displayed on-screen allowing for accurate results.

Portable hardness testing equipment can be utilised to test components
of unusual geometry.

All testing equipment is calibrated and certified to ISO standards.
